Well Done

Well done. Well done. Those chains are not engraved with your curly initials anymore. You watched from the landing window as the street cleaning team spent at least one whole minute assessing the value of your material history. Well done, well done, well done...
Well done. Well done. You sat on the deck of the boat with a plate of chips and a glass half full of fear. You watched as the land that you know rolled over the horizon and into a new chapter. A chapter that dedicates itself to the character you won't play anymore. You won't play anymore.

Busy
02:53
|

I'm just doing things. I'm just doing things. I keep myself busy with these things. I'm just doing things. It's all a cover up for reality. Reality retains its modesty. Tell yourself you live honestly. Tell yourself you live honestly.
Tell yourself.

Blue Ranger

Blue Ranger. Donatello. Knuckles the Echidna. Darth Maul, Sith Lord. Skull Kid wearing the mask. Gohan with a broken arm. Jack from Lost. From Friends, Ross. Boromir will never be king. Apok will die like this.
"I will see you again but not yet. Not yet."
James Cole is a good observer. Has anyone seen Sam Lowry? Stand down Lieutenant Worf. Teal'c doesn't understand.
"I will see you again but not yet. Not yet."

Good Living
02:54
|
|||
When the river's full at the mouth, at the source. I'd like to have control. I'd like to plot the course but what if I get it wrong? What if no one understands there are bigger thing at work here than the world between my hands?
And it's coming back to me whether I like it or not. Would I know it if I saw it? Would I know if it was lost? I come back to my senses as I look into the past. Should I imagine it as it was; a shadow held in frost? Am I looking forward to being an old man? Am I looking forward to being an old man?
There are so many years between these days and those. What must I do to achieve those goals? The key to good living is not wanting to throw yourself out of the window. Broken on the floor. Broken on the floor knowing that you didn't tidy your apartment.
Am I looking forward to being an old man? There are so many years between these days and those. What must I do to achieve those goals? Who's gonna be there when I roll across the line?

A Sense of Value
03:01
|
|||
On the inside. It's not raining in here. On the inside it's not so clear how cold it is out there today. The desk is cut at an angle to save space. Coffee beans on the floor. Bottles by the door. Orange peel in the sink. I feel what I think. I feel what I think.
I'm made in a place that builds inside you a sense of value. It can empower you. I can lead towards the cold weight of failure. I'm made in a place that builds inside you a sense of value. When faced by an alien a compromise is sought. Subservience is absent. Subservience is useful. I see the colonies. I see the nature of education. It's a reaction. The wrong piece. You push. It doesn't bend. You withdraw. You wallow. Down here with a thread of culture. An invisible threshold which incubates these moulding narratives of ownership. I'm made in a place that builds inside you a sense of value. It can empower you. It can lead towards the cold weight of failure. I'm made in a place that builds inside you a sense of value.

Fully Grown Man
03:25
|
|||
Did you see that fully grown man buckle at the knees? All that weight (fragile state) falls to the floor. Falls to the floor.
Is it what you thought it could have been? Even when it's hard it's interesting. Anything could happen and it did. Definition is more and more ambiguous. Definitely it is not what you thought it could've been. And will it never will be but it's okay.
IT IS NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE BEEN AND IT NEVER WILL BE!
